Gundu H. R. Rao obtained his B.Sc degree from the University of Mysore and B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc., degrees from the Poona University. He immigrated to the USA in 1965 and specialized in grain storage technology and obtained his Ph.D degree from the Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas. After working as a post-doctoral fellow at the Texas A& M University and University of Minnesota, he joined department of Pharmacology as an NIH fellow to get training in toxicology. He has been with the University of Minnesota Medical School for over 40 years. He is a naturalized US citizen and a tenured professor in the department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology. He is an author or co-author of over 300 publications in the field of interest (thrombosis and stroke). In the past, he has consulted various medical device development companies in the Twin Cities including 3M, Medtronic Inc, St Jude Medical, Medical CV Inc, Vascular Solutions, APP Tech, Endocardial Solutions, PlaCor Inc., Medical Innovations Inc, Hypertension Diagnostics Inc. and Boston Scientific on problems related to biocompatibility, thrombosis and stroke.

I’m Waad Al Guraini, I was born in 1992. I originally from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’m very ambitious person and caffeine addict. I have studied English Translation back in 2010 at King Saud University for only one year. Dropped school and had this major surgery in 2011 of discectomy. While preparing for my surgery I have registered in IPA major of Hospital Administration and got accepted, got graduated in 2014 and started working on April 2014 in PSCC as a Medical Personal Assistant of Head of Electrophysiology and Pacing Unit – Dr. Ahmed Al Fagih. During my career I have entered the college of Health Sciences – Health Informatics but not yet accredited. My biggest achievement was organizing the Atrial Fibrillation Symposium 2015, and also I have been assigned as a coordinator in Saudi Heart Rhythm Society in 2017 till current. Currently I am the Nursing Program Secretary/PA at Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre.

He also helps organizations improve their systems of care for cardiac arrest and heart attack. David has an extensive background in cardiac arrest systems of care through his work at Code One, in the field and with the American Heart Association where he was responsible for education, implementation, strategy development, and helping responders and systems achieve improved outcomes.
